“But to live within a single moment”: Architect-Restorer Mualla Eyüboğlu (1919-2009) focuses on Eyüboğlu’s life and the architectural circles of the Republican period, while also examining the difficulties of working on a personal archive. Çokuğraş ve Gençer worked with many documents in Mualla Eyüboğlu’s archive, from autobiographical notes, letters, professional notebooks, drawings, and building photographs to correspondence related to restoration processes, and they will discuss, with the book’s editor Yücel, how the archive transformed into a unique research project and eventually, a book.
